Anyone can use the library, and visitors are welcome.

Students, alumni, faculty, staff, community members, and visitors can use most resources while in the building. Visitors will need to show a valid form of picture ID and sign a form to access the library.

Visitors are welcome at the Thomas G. Carpenter Library and may use most resources and services free of charge. However, they must check in and present an official photo ID before entering the building. UNF faculty, students, and staff may use the library any time it is open, but visitors are not allowed between 11p.m. and 7a.m.

To check out items and remotely access databases, you'll need to be a student, faculty or staff currently affiliated to UNF.

Alumni and visitors can buy a special borrower card to check out materials. See more information on special borrower courtesy privileges here.
