Patrons who log in using their university ID have administrator rights on all lab computers.  

This means that they should be able to install any software (except for torrent or peer-to-peer file sharing software) with little to no problems.  However, in the event they have trouble installing software they can contact the ITS Help Desk via 620-HELP or they can go to the second-floor desk and talk to an ITS tech Monday through Friday from 11-1pm.  If they have issues trying to install software after hours or during the weekend they will need to call the help desk using the number above.

Please keep in mind that after-hour support is very limited and the patron's issue may not be resolved in a timely manner.
